MMDT worked with Commercial Observer over a 10-month engagement to streamline and improve their events business. As part of this engagement, MMDT completely integrated into the Commercial Observer Events Team serving as strategic council and team leader, executing and project managing Commercial Observer’s flagship virtual and in-person events.
With events being an integral part of Commercial Observer’s revenue stream, MMDT worked across the entirety of the organization – events, marketing, programming/edit, sales, and executive leadership – to identify how the events business could grow revenue, reach new audiences, offer a more sophisticated experience, and improve execution internally and externally.
As part of this engagement, MMDT used Commercial Observer’s flagship events such as 14th Annual Power Gala and Miami Future Forward to implement new internal and external initiatives as well as ensuring tasks and teams kept on schedule. MMDT also led the annual events strategic planning process, adding new ideas and approaches implemented in 2022.
